Our Team

Site Inspection:

Confirm roof dimensions and layout.

Verify the condition of existing roof structure.

Check for any obstructions (vents, chimneys, skylights).

Identify safety hazards (power lines, weak decking, steep slopes). Make sure gutter down spouts are covered to prevent clogging.

2. Materials Verification:

Ensure all materials are on-site and match project specifications.

Verify quality of materials (no damaged or incorrect items).

Check for sufficient quantities of shingles, underlayment, nails, flashing, etc.

Tool Check:

Inspect all tools and equipment for functionality.

Ensure fall protection gear is in proper working condition.

Confirm availability of ladders, scaffolding, and power tools.

Crew Briefing:

Review scope of work and project timeline with the team.

Assign roles and responsibilities to crew members.

Confirm everyone understands safety protocols.

Preparation:

Install fall protection systems before starting.

Protect landscaping and property with tarps as needed.

Remove old roofing materials carefully and dispose of them properly.

Deck Inspection:

Inspect for damaged or rotted decking.

Replace or repair any weak sections.

Confirm deck is clean and free of debris.

Underlayment Installation:

Apply ice and water shield in vulnerable areas (eaves, valleys, around penetrations).

Roll out and secure synthetic or felt underlayment evenly.

Overlap underlayment according to manufacturer’s specifications.

Flashing and Ventilation:

Install flashing around chimneys, vents, and edges.

Verify proper ventilation installation (ridge vents, soffit vents).

Shingle Installation:

Begin with starter strip shingles at the eaves.

Ensure consistent alignment and stagger shingle seams properly.

Nail shingles at the correct locations and depths to avoid over/under-driving nails.

Follow manufacturer’s installation guidelines for warranties.
